Chance of Booster side effects after recent COVID?

Im over 50 and planning to go a walk-in vaccination centre today to get my booster. I had COVID in August (positive LF on 15 August). I have had side effects from my previous vaccinations (mainly the usual fever, fatigue, headache..) but a friend recently said that side effects could be worse if you’ve recently had covid. Not sure if this is true, has anyone experienced that?

Why would you have a booster so close to your previous infection? Surely, you have got some antibodies? Apologies, if you have blood test checked it already :-)

Thanks. In response to the first question, my GP surgery called me up for the booster and they know about the previous infection.
@jeffbezoz that’s interesting, could you explain further?

The only reason for not having a vaccination soon after infection is that the side effects can be confused with Covid effects.
I believe (happy to be proved wrong though) that having had Omicron previously does not give much protection against getting it again.

The govt advice was/is to leave a gap of a minimum of 28 days between having Covid and getting a booster. It was exactly 28 days after when I got my booster last time and I was completely fine.

I had covid 24th July and had the moderna booster the Wednesday just gone. I had a sore arm and headaches (the headache could have been a migraine related to periods though) I had none of the horror story side effects other people mention with moderna!!
