Two weeks on and my legs are so achey

I had covid quite mildly a couple of weeks ago. Went back to normal for two days and since then have been exhausted with very achey legs. So fed up, have had to cancel lots of plans and am worried about managing my holiday at the end of August.

Has anyone else experienced this? How long is it likely to last?

I've been getting this since I had Covid in February - but only at night - it wakes me up. It does seem to be getting less frequent but is still happening

Six months I'm afraid, mainly my thigh muscles

Three weeks on and my legs don't ache all the time but 20 minutes is my limit for walking. So getting gradually better if helpful info for anyone going through similar

Still quite breathless though

Very similar experience @DeborahVance , mild initial infection, back to work/normal days 7-12 then woke up on day 13 feeling terrible, been in bed ever since (day 18),

5 months here, though now only if I do a lot of walking (which is a challenge with the breathlessness anyway). Feels like it used to feel after a long run following 20-30minutes gentle walk.

Interesting. Aching thighs was the most noticeable symptom for me when I had COVID and also as a vaccine side-effect. It didn't persist after the illness, though. I wonder what the mechanism is.

Hope it goes away for you soon.

I was getting better, then slightly overdid it again and back with the aching legs. So fed up of this now
