Scotland - still positive. Back with the family?

DH tested positive on Thursday evening. Has been completely isolating at home in our bedroom & en-suite for 5 days as per the Scottish guidelines. He’s still testing positive but no longer has symptoms of fever etc. Although he still had a mild cough and just feels tired.

We have a young child (under 2). Would you keep DH isolated until a negative test or have him back with the family after the 5 days?

Everything I’ve read just says to resume normal activities after the 5 days but avoid vulnerable groups until 10 days have passed. Young children don’t seem to be classed as a vulnerable group though.

@lickenchugget @user1487194234 Fair enough 😊 Hes the first in the house to ever have it and we thought isolating was best to try and avoid our toddler getting it
