Recovered from covid but keep falling asleep at odd times; anyone else?

It's very odd. I tested positive about 2 weeks ago. I feel fine now- resumed life as normal- but I keep falling asleep on the sofa at odd times, like in the middle of the morning or while working ( luckily wfh). Anyone else? And then I can't get to sleep at night. It's not so much tiredness as just overwhelming sleepiness.

I was the same after I had covid the first time, just couldn't stay awake at times where as just before I had covid and for the first week I tested positive I couldn't sleep at all!

Lasted about 4 weeks I think

Yes, I've been falling into deep sleeps during the day too. I'm assuming it's post viral fatigue.

So I am not alone. This is my second bout of Covid; don't recall feeling this sleepy with the first one. Struggling to keep awake this very minute.

It's not unusual. Hopefully it will wear off in the next couple of weeks.

I was the same twice I’ve had covid, I m anemic so have regular blood tests, one was booked one week after I was negative from covid and my ferritin levels dropped significantly, I’ve upped my intake of iron supplements and It made a huge difference

Yes I carried on working but the second week was constantly falling asleep every time I sat down !
