Those who have had Covid twice (or more) since Christmas... what was your latest infection like? Milder? Shorter in duration? Do you think you gained and immunity from the first time?

I had omicron last year, clinically vulnerable and was very ill.

I have it now and it’s not nice but almost like a sped up version of what I had last time so hoping I have good immunity.

DH is on chemo so hopefully I don’t pass it onto him but am able to stay away.

Had covid first time, took me down like the flu, second time not as bad at all. I was ill at Christmas with some other (non covid) cold/flu virus and it literally made me cry. Recovered from all absolutely fine as the average healthy person would do.

First time I had Covid it was an absolute breeze. Barely ill. Bit of a cough and tight chest.

This time is 5 weeks in and still coughing. Sinuses blocked. By 4pm I’m beyond useless as I’m weak, shakey, exhausted, headachy. I don’t even know if this is Covid because I think I missed the testing window but whatever it is feels awful and I’m starting to wonder if I’ll ever get better
