Tested positive yesterday - what to expect

And a mini rant about DH

After feeling like my hayfever got turned up to 11 yesterday, I did a speculative test (my hairdresser is pg and I had an appointment booked for today). Blazing positive - no wonder my antihistamines weren't working.

I feel rubbish mainly like a severe head cold/ sinusitis, but with sleeplessness and a ridiculous sore throat.

How long are people finding the feeling like pants bit lasts at the moment please? And what symptoms seem common?

DH and both boys had it at Christmas and are so far testing negative. Which is a massive relief as DS1 is immunosuppressed. I'm massively irritable though as when DH had it all he did was rest, so far I made tea last night, got DS1 ready for cubs, did breakfast this morning and am now with DS2 while DS1 goes off to a Youth club activity in the woods. I went through the calendar for next week and DH has decided his in office days are immovable so DS2 will be with me all week and DS1 will miss his activities. DS2 is 3 and hearing impaired so I won't be resting at all. I don't know why I'm ranting, I just feel so cross and like he's being so selfish. I suspect it's because I'm not usually poorly - and I usually shoulder most of the childcare, cooking, housework as well as working part-time. Sorry, guess I just needed to get that off my chest. Oh I'm so grumpy!
