Irritated stomach still ongoing after covid

I had covid about a month ago. I’m not sure if it’s a pure coincidence or not but the day before testing I had a slightly upset stomach, just loads of unpleasant wind. A month later and it’s never gone away, still seems like my stomach is irritated and producing loads of gas all of the time. Has anyone else experienced this and did it eventually go away? It’s starting to get me down

I've had gastro issues since I first had suspected covid in 2020 (before testing). I had covid in March this year and it affected my stomach again. I now suffer quite badly from gastritis.
The only thing I find helps is taking a probiotic every day, not the ones you drink, I've got some in capsule form.
L. Plantarum is the one you'll need. It helps restore gut flora to its natural state.

Same here, IBS-like symptoms two months on.

Thanks @MissCrowley will get some of that. Awful you’ve had it for so long

@GCAcademic probably is covid that’s caused it then. It seems too much of a coincidence and I can’t think of any other reason as nothing in my diet has changed. Really hope it goes for both of us soon

Me too had it in November. X

Yes, I ended up with a month of omeprazole for stomach issues that went on for about 4 weeks after covid. I've just tested positive again so really hope it doesn't come back.

Ooh. Im almost two weeks post covid and feeling v nauseous. I think it does affect stomach. Going to try fasting and probiotics to see if affects it.
