^ snotty tissue.

Ds has cold symptoms, sore throat and headache.

Ds is also petrified of covid tests. We had to hold him down it in the past, I will not be doing it ever again. He is autistic and covid testing has always been horrific for him.

has anyone swabbed a tissue?

dd has also been ill and tested negative on lft's so hopefully he's got the same thing but covid is rife in their school again.

Yes I did.

My DS is 2 and was super snotty and hated covid tests so wasn't going to put him through that again. Came back positive.

I swabbed the rim of a nostril, just at the very entrance as an experiment and got a massive positive, so I would say it would probably work.

Yes I have and it was positive.

When DS had Covid, I experimented with swabbing dirty tissues and it worked. I also accidentally used the wrong end of the swab on his nose and that worked but that's not recommended at all.

DD hates them and it would be a pinning down situation here too so I do them in her sleep. Seems to work fine.
