I know they’ve said this new variant is more transmissible.

How long after exposure have you tested positive? (If you knew when you were exposed etc).

I'm not sure, but my friend and I were together at an event all day on Tuesday. Both come down with sore throats and feeling rough today (Friday) and have both tested positive this morning

I just tested positive yesterday. I think I must have been exposed on Monday while I was shopping, but could possibly have been Wednesday evening at the pub though that seems too quick. I tested positive as soon as I started with symptoms that came onvery quickly and horribly.

I was on a flight from Italy on Saturday and tested positive Tuesday evening but symptoms started Monday night/Tuesday morning. Tested negative lunch time Tuesday.
