Hello does anyone have any insight into what it is like in france at the moment in regards to covid? The general attitude and rules and restrictions (not entry requirements)?
appreciate any feedback. Thank you!

Masks are recommended again (but are not obligatory) on public transport and I have noticed an increase in people wearing them this week.
You still have to self-isolate if you test positive.

We were there last week.
Had to show covid passes at passport control before boarding the ferry.
Once in France, I saw very little evidence of covid precautions - no masks required anywhere etc.
Bizarrely though, on our last day we went to the supermarket and LOTS of people were wearing masks, then on the ferry they were too. Both DH and I commented that we wondered if something had changed?

No requirement to show covid passes coming back into the UK.

Mais required at drs, dentists, hospitals, clinics. Not sure about transport - there isn't any where I live. Most shop assistants were wearing them, but this seems to be tailing off. Restaurant staff still are.

@WonderWine
Over the past two weeks various politicians/health authorities have recommended wearing masks again on public transport.

Currently few formal restrictions (e.g. Covid pass checks and mask wearing continues at our local hospital down south) but watching TV news/reading papers no doubt authorities starting to get slightly twitchy again:

I think people are taking the hint - mask wearing seems to be on the up again in supermarkets locally, especially amongst the older customers.
