Lots of symptoms again but testing negative

Body aches, sore throat, generally feeling rough, ear ache…. But testing negative. This isn’t the first time, I know there are other viruses around but are the tests still reliable?! I never used to get ‘colds’ like this before covid.

I had symptoms for 3 days before testing positive with a lft this time. Last year I tested positive straight away with a pcr. It appears that the lft do not pick it up as early.

Ds tested positive today but has been coughing and rough since Thursday when he tested negative. Does he count from today?

I had symptoms for 5 days before my positive test showed up.

I've been the same since Wednesday. Still testing negative but I'm sure I have it. I feel unwell still, I've done both types of tests as well.

No, from when symptoms started. First day of symptoms = day zero.

Colds and flu is still around as well

I tested positive today, having coughed throughout the night and had a sore throat since Sunday. There does seem to be a delay on detecting whatever variant this is which may be why it spreads so fast, as there are false reassurances in early negatives.

Still testing negative although don’t feel well still! So strange, I guess there are just lots of other bugs around.

I think I caught it at a party. Of the 7 people I was mostly with that evening, 3 others tested positive the same day as me and one other had all the same symptoms but never did get a positive test.

Around 6/7 weeks ago I was convinced I had it, felt shit, repeatedly tested negative

3 weeks ago felt mildly unwell, tested, positive came up strongly in about 2 seconds, before the control line

Ds just tested negative! A week from symptoms and 5 days from + test.

Keep testing until you get that positive test OP. Have you tried orange juice? Might help.

My daughter became ill Sunday, headache, sore throat, fever, aches and pains. She tested negative for 4 days, started to feel better yesterday (apart from the headache) and then tested positive! So, going off the guidelines do I assume she's no longer contagious as she's had symptoms for 6 days, or do I go off the positive test that only happened yesterday?!! She's 14...

I tested positive for the first time yesterday but negative today, what's that about🤷

I tested the first day I felt rough and it was an instant dark red positive.
