Hospital appt when Covid in household

I feel like I should know the answer to this but can’t seem to find it online for my hospital trust. Ds has this evening tested positive for Covid, I have a hospital appointment on Wednesday. Assuming that I don’t test positive in the meantime am I ok to go to my hospital appointment? I know I can pretty much do anything now (and so can he if he feels well) however, I don’t know how that works with the hospital/gp.
