Anyone had bad symptoms for just one day?

I am on holiday and think I have covid but didn't bring any tests with me stupidly. I hadn't been anywhere for 10 days before I travelled in an attempt not to get it, but sat next to a bloke on the plane who was coughing all through the flight!

It came on very suddenly, dry cough, shortness of breath, upset stomach, lost taste, runny nose. I felt dreadful for around 12 hours, the next day woke up feeling absolutely shit. But just as suddenly I felt better, just left with a cough and sneezing.

Can this be Covid do you think?

I had COVID about a month ago - 12 hours of temperature, sore throat, hoarse voice and then woke up the next morning feeling tired but otherwise fine. Remained positive on lateral flow for 10 days!

My partner had covid a while ago. He felt rough one day - shivery, tired, fatigued and just generally poorly. He did test because he knew he'd been in very close contact and it came back instantly positive (later confirmed by pcr) The next day his symptoms were pretty much gone apart from slight sniffles. So yes possible.

my son was similar. Rough for one day then for totally but 10 days isolation was still
mandatory then so he and to isolate for 10 days feeling perfectly fine.
