Catching Omicron twice

Had Covid back in March, but was a close contact on Monday... what's the chances of catching it again? DH only just recovering from the fatigue of the first bout and I really don't want to give it to him again! House is too small to isolate!

I got it back end of last year … an DP didn’t catch it at all and we didn’t isolate or take any precautions at all, and I know so many people that have had same scenario.
but I think it’s massively dependant person to person. Either way, it won’t affect your DH near as bad a second time especially so recently. I got it again in March and was almost asymptomatic 🙏

Highly possible

There are different omicron variants - it’s possible depending on which variant you had and which you were in contact with

My friends little girl had it in January and again a couple of months later, but then I know plenty of people who have been contacts and ever had it (we've had covid twice in our house, once me and ds, the other time dd and DH didn't get it either time). It seems like pure luck of the draw and no way of predicting. Hopefully you remain okay

I know plenty of people who have had covid twice. However, i currently have it and DP does not despite not isolating from each other at all. Same when my DF had it and DM never caught it. Think it's luck Blush

I've had it five times including twice this year, which I assume must have been the two Omicron variants. Positive late January but with very mild symptoms, then again mid March but I was much more unwell and remained positive for over three weeks.
