My husband is triple jabbed and he has tested positive for covid today. Had symptoms from yesterday- mild cough, fever (now gone), and lethargy. When he tested yesterday was negative, but tested positive today. When he got symptoms I asked him to maintain some sort of distance which he refused and we were in the car a few times as well.

I haven’t had the booster but had two doses- daughter had covid and I haven’t had it until now.

How bad is it for anyone without the booster? I’m getting worried now…

I had it before any jabs at all and was absolutely fine, had a bit of a cough.
Then had it after 3 jabs and it was worse than the first time (still mild).
Dont panic.

Have it now. 3 jabs. Week three and I still have a horrendous cough which contributes to exhaustion. I could sleep all day.

Hoping it gets better soon.

@grapewines hope you feel better soon.

I’ve tested positive today morning- feeling a bit anxious as I’m not boosted yet - should have fine but kept putting it off.

I tested positive this morning, although I am triple jabbed. I'm sniffly with a bit of a sore throat and was coughing yesterday. I'd have gone to work otherwise (now WFH).

Only tested because I was hot in the night.

DP has just swabbed both his throat and nose on separate tests and both negative.

I had Covid during Easter without the booster - I just completely forgot to book it, but was double jabbed last year.

Honestly, I was absolutely fine. I felt a bit dizzy the day before I tested positive, but I've had far worse colds and all I felt was a bit groggy and tired. I continued to work throughout (although WFH). My Mum (60) was a couple of days ahead of me and again, just said it felt like a head cold although she had headaches, sore throat, fever and tiredness - something a couple of weeks later she's struggling a little with. She was triple jabbed.

Thank you all for your responses- I’m kicking myself as to why I didn’t book the booster.

Why won't he keep his distance if you've asked him to?

OP probably lives in the same house and sleeps in the same bed as her DH. I know 2 people don't always get it within the same household but it's no way to live. Let OP book a hotel if she's so worried.

I’m day two of testing positive- today my symptoms are

no fever - had it on day one
no headache - had it on day one
no muscle ache (lower leg) - had it day one

sinus pains around ears and teeth
blocked nose
intermittent coughing
tiredness

is there anything I should keep a watch out for? When do people take a turn for the worst? Day 4/5?

also am I ok to go out after day 5? Even if testing positive?
