Anyone tested positive and had Covid without realising it

Anyone tested because of someone close by having it and been positive when other wise wouldn't have known it was covid if you hadn't of tested?!
I did a test today as everyone at work has it so I just thought I would see and it's positive.
Apart from a slight scratchy throat I feel fine and wouldn't have thought anything else about it if I hadn't of tested.
Now I'm getting paranoid over every little thing like sat here convincing myself I'm a bit breathless. I have health anxiety so I'm trying hard to stay calm but part of me wishes I hadn't tested as I wouldn't have know and then I wouldn't be looking for something or symptoms other than just having a sort throat.

A sore throat is one of the top symptoms of omicron .

Yes, I had it in the first year or so without knowing, I found out through an antibody test.

We spent nearly two years protecting my ancient mother from Covid. Then one day my sister and I both tested positive. Both of us were in bed ill for over a week. We only knew my mother had it because we tested her and she couldn’t understand why we were both in bed.

DD tested positive in January when school asked us to test as her teacher had it. She did get her symptoms a day or two after though.

I only found out in December as it was in the house. I was asymptomatic. I would have been in work had the rules at the time not required day 2 & 10 PCR.
I felt relieved that I had been isolating either the family.

Scratchy throat is common with omicron.

It's also common to have little to no symptoms. we all had covid a little while ago, 3 out of 4 us had symptoms but Dd did not but got positive on a lft on the very tail end of our isolation period. It was close to being missed!

DS1 tested positive after 11 out of 16 in his class came down with it. We had been dreading it because he has a number of immune issues. However we very genuinely would never have known if we had not tested. he sailed through it and was mainly grumpy because he had to be at home for in the end a full 10 days before he tested negative again. (It was when you could go out and about again if you tested negative on Days 5 onwards).
