Stomach cramps as symptom

Anyone else have horrific stomach cramps with covid? Currently on day 2 with typical slight cough, snottiness, etc. Since yesterday have had intermittent bouts of contraction-like stomach cramps. Cramps are too low down to be lung pain and start below the bottom of ribs. Period did arrive on same day as covid (after 43 days instead of the usual 23…). Wondering if anyone else had this as a covid symptom or whether it’s just an unfortunate covid/period combo?

Yes, my first bout of covid was being woken about 4am with severe stomach cramps, they were horrific, I had a bit of a poorly tummy at the time, then went back to sleep. Woke later in the day with a fever of 39.9 and then booked a test.

All of my symptoms that time were GI in nature.

Ha. Please see my recent thread titled 'explosive diarrhea'.

Seriously though, it started like day 5 (the pain) and I haven't been able to eat properly since.

Yes, quite bad ones. I ended up calling the maternity triage line as I was 24 weeks pregnant at the time and it was quite bad abdominal pain.
They were satisfied it was covid related and said it wasn’t uncommon. It only lasted a day for me.

I’m on day one, and biggest symptom is stomach and nausea. It was the same with jab side effects

My first symptom was very bad pelvic cramps. I thought I had appendicitis! Turned into upset stomach and then Covid….

Last August one night I had horrific stomach cramps, kept me awake for hours, no upset tummy though. Decided to have a lemsip when I got up in the morning only to find I couldn't taste it. Did a test and hey presto I'd caught it! Just had fluey feeling for a few days after that and a very stuffy nose.

Tested postive this morning and have been having intermittent cramps since yesterday afternoon

Yep, cramps, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. In addition to all the other symptoms on the "new" updated list.

Two and a half weeks on I can still only stomach very salty or sweet foods.

There is a stomach bug going around...we have it...mild cramps...taking buscopan which is working well.....we dont have covid.

Im actually starting to think we've been coinfected. My son had covid but tested negative at the weekend and now has had diarrhea. I was mid-covid when the stomach symptoms hit but now my OH has the stomach problems, identical in symptom pattern and timing, but with negative LFT

I did though I have IBS anyway. Also got period pains but no period.
