Omicron - what was your incubation period?

Caveat - I know it's hard to pinpoint this for sure, however I'm curious...

If you're reasonably certain of when you caught covid, how long was your incubation period?

I've just tested positive, along with a few others, following a large family gathering. It was only 2 days ago which seems a bit of a short incubation period, so I'm pondering over whether it was caught at the wedding or beforehand. It doesn't really make any difference, I'm just pondering and looking for 'anecdata'!...

3 days for me and my colleagues when we caught it at work.

Drove a girl home from work one evening, she tested positive the next morning and I tested positive around lunchtime the next day and got symptoms the day after

I started getting a scratchy throat on Saturday afternoon, and tested positive.

I work from home and know I was infected either

  • 2 days earlier on Tube, or in the office
  • 5 days earlier from a Lidl shop.
(I do a daily walk but rarely pass anyone).

None of the 4 work colleagues I saw on Thurs have had it, so the Tube is the prime suspect imo.
