Severe pain in kidneys??

I tested positive today after two days of symptoms (and negative LFTs)
Just wondering if anyone has experienced pretty severe pain in their kidneys (or at least that area) I’ve been drinking a lot of water/green tea as I’ve been feeling like shit. Also had sciatica and general fatigue of my whole body. But the pains in my kidneys are excruciating!

I experienced lots of lower back pain when tested positive the first time in Nov '20. Might be worth ringing your GP/111 to see if they have any suggestions.

My dm has just tested positive today and has gone downhill pretty quickly symptom wise.

She has managed to pee herself 4 times without even feeling like she needed the toilet but then when she has to go it's instant. Her kidneys apparently aren't that great anyway so the gp has sent her antibiotics for a kidney infection. She says she's had some kidney pain.

I would call 111 as you may well need antibiotics for a kidney infection.

Yup they day before I tested positive and the worst day for me illness wise. Thought I was getting kidney stones again.. only lasted about 30 hours though then the symptoms moved on.. such a strange illness. Hope you feel brighter soon.

Please call 111, I say this as someone who has experience of patients with this symptom alongside covid.
