How likely am I to feel worse again?

Hello.

Felt pretty shite Friday- Sunday. Sunday was my worst day. Feeling a lot better today. The on/off nausea has stopped, no longer have the horrible headache and I'm not aching as much as I did.

Now I'm just bunged up but feeling relatively chirpy, also feel like I'm getting a bit of a sore throat.

I tested positive on Saturday but it was super faint. Today I've tested again and the line went black within 30 seconds. I have health anxiety, I'll be honest. Im now concerned that Im under false pretences and don't understand why Im feeling better but my line is really dark. Does this mean Im inevitably going to get worse?

I don't think the thickness or boldness of the line is related to how ill you feel. My first positive was so faint I did another one to check (it was negative!) and then i only had a headache and a bit of scratchy throat. I've had a cold since then but nothing major and this morning the line came up like yours has.

Hi, I also have health anxiety and was worried when the same happened to me last week. My worst initial symptoms were declining by the time my test line turned properly dark, and at that point I developed a horrendous sore throat which was new, but no other new symptoms. From speaking to people I think this is quite common although I don't understand why, and wish I did. All you can do is wait and see though. I think if you did feel really bad and are starting to feel better that is a good sign.

Thank you both for replying.
@tingalayo you're probably right. Like I said I'm not 100% but not as bad as yesterday. It's really bad for me to sit in bed wallowing with illness so I'd much rather get up and do things like work. I wfh so that's not an issue. I just assumed that if the line was darker I should feel more poorly.
