Anyone had awful stomach pain?

Day 3 here and I thought that the paracetamol I’d taken might have caused an upset stomach but I’m still getting pain below the rib area. It comes and goes in waves and makes me feel a bit sick.

Anyone else? Is this Covid related?

I had Covid in March 2020 and had gastric symptoms. Felt really sick all the time, horrible cramps and pains, really weird diarrhoea like nothing I'd ever had before.
Barely ate anything for 10 days, lost a stone.
On the bright side, I didn't have much of a cough or any trouble breathing.

So yes it could be Covid related.

My 17 year old son has this. He gets bouts of IBS anyway. Had COVID last week and tested negative after a week and is fine in terms of other symptoms but his stomach is still cramping

I had some gastric discomfort and proper diarrhoea with Covid (i’m on day 12 now) and so did many people I know, esp the ones who are prone to gastric related issues. It seems to target your weaknesses

Interesting side effects.

I do have Crohn’s so makes sense if it’s targeting my weak areas the pain however feels more acidic if that makes sense?

Yes! I had weird stomach cramps, like gripey pain from about day 3 onwards. It went after about a week. i wondered if it was all the paracetamol I was taking, but I've never had it before.

I've heard of others who have had stomach cramps and acid reflux.
