What are the chances of my testing negative by Friday morning?

Booked to fly home to see my Mum. Haven’t seen her since last summer. Fortunately she doesn’t know I’m coming. Tested positive this morning, but had symptoms (well more just a blocked nose) since Friday. Bought test today as I had planned to go into the office and we have to test prior to going on site. I am going to have to cancel, aren’t I? The trouble is, everyone else has stitched up leave for April and May and I don’t know when I am going to be able to rebook.

There's no way of knowing unfortunately.

I currently have Covid, tested positive on the 14th but started with symptoms on the 11th/12th. I'm on day 8 since the test and am still testing positive.

Two friends tested positive the same time as me, one on the 13th and one on the 14th, Symptoms started around the same time. One tested negative on days 5 and 6 so could leave self isolation early, the other tested negative on days 7 and 8 so could too.

What are the self isolation and travel rules where you are / where you are flying to?

I’m flying back to U.K. which seems to have thrown all caution to the winds and scrapped all regulations, so if I got on the flight spraying everyone with Covid it seems that there’s nothing they could do. However, I have no wish to infect a plane full of staff and passengers, so I think I’ll have to rebook.
