Did you develop symptoms later?

I tested positive 36 hours ago with no symptoms, wondering if I got a lucky escape or might symptoms develop still? I reckon I was first exposed a week ago by DH, and been looking after covid positive baby for a few days too.

Really hoping I get away symptoms free so I can keep dealing with the tricky nights with poorly DD. They are hard enough as it is!

DH tested positive and hasn't had a single symptom! Day 6 now for both of us and I just have a very mild cold. Toddler DS also positive but no symptoms

My 11 year old tested because his friend caught it and he is now positive. He has no symptoms beyond a bit of a cold, certainly nothing is keep him off school for ordinarily. He is also presenting with incessant talking and eating. Angry

Not vaxed. Tested positive and had zero symptoms.

Itsnottheendoftheworldisit · 22/03/2022 17:41

First time I got it I had headache and no taste smell. But nothing too serious. Second time after vaccine not a single symptom. Third time again no symptoms

Tested positive yesterday and at most I have mild fatigue and very, very slight phlegm. If I hadn't been testing though because my daughter caught it, I wouldnt really know I had it. Worried that it might suddenly get worse but so far it's been nothing much.

Nurserygerms · 22/03/2022 17:59

Thanks for sharing!

@GD12 that is just like me, I am tired but could just be the disturbed nights and have the slightest phlegm feeling at the back of my nose but would really have thought nothing of it if it wasn't for the rest of the family being ill. I'm also worried it will suddenly get worse, hope not!

Yes, had a positive test on a Saturday and developed symptoms by the following Tuesday.

Jules912 · 22/03/2022 18:14

DD did, mild symptoms started day after and full on fever etc from day 3-5, followed by a few weeks of tiredness.
The rest of us got the symptoms first though I followed DD's pattern of getting worse after a few days.

My DC and parents have recently had Covid without any of the 'usual' symptoms.

GD12 · 22/03/2022 21:30

My 4yo daughters cough is maybe a bit worse today (day 4)and it was difficult to get her settled tonight with the cough but she's sleeping now generally apart from that she doesn't seem too bad. Awful thing is we tested her last Fri morn before nursery and negative. Nursery teacher told us she was tired and a bit of a cough and she was + when we got home! Bad outbreak in nursery last week and feel guilty for sending her in. I've definitely got a bit of fatigue tonight and slightly achy with a bit of a productive cough but really nothing bad. Hope it stays that way!

sonjadog · 22/03/2022 21:37

Yes, I had no symptoms for the first two days, then they started to come. In day four now and only had symptoms of a mild cold so far and I tire easily.

Nurserygerms · 22/03/2022 21:58

Hmm so it is still very much possible they will come. I went from zero symptom in the morning to mild symptoms this afternoon to feeling a bit rough now. Mostyl itchy throat, foggy head and fatigue. Let's see what tomorrow brings!

I had a positive test beginning of January. No symptoms at all (never felt better infact!) but a week later my sense of taste went a bit weird. Coffee and chocolate suddenly turned on me. Took about 3 weeks to sort itself out.

Nurserygerms · 23/03/2022 10:32

Ooo so random @ChipButtyCurrySauce. Thankfully feel great this morning after I got some much needed sleep so I think I am getting away lightly! Day 3 after positive test.

Day 3 here too. Generally feel not too bad. Bit of a cough and something in back of throat and needed some ibuprofen this morn because slightly achy but slept really well last night. Same for husband, says its like slight hay-fever. Really nothing too bad at all. I kind of feel like the worst of it is being held back almost maybe the vaccine working idk.

sonjadog · 23/03/2022 12:10

Day five for me now and cough, runny nose and fever are gone or as good as. Today I am just really, really tired.

Cas112 · 23/03/2022 12:15

I had no symptoms throughout
