Covid test help. TMI early morning warning (blood)

Having had Covid in the house very recently I really need to be sure I am clear. I am CEV and have been working from home with minimal social contact so I am a novice tester. This morning I did a RAT test (all we have left in the house). I have polyps in my nose and my nose often feels dry and crusty inside and I sometimes have a little bit of blood when I blow my nose from time to time ordinarily.
Anyway, I did my mouth but I have a really strong gag reflex so I am always unsure I get the swab to the back of my throat properly. I then did my nose and noticed some blood from the second nostril. I did the test anyway and it quickly showed up positive. I waited awhile over 40 minutes but still have tiny bits of blood on a tissue when I blew my nose and also have tiny flecks of blood in mucus/phlegm in my mouth. So I am not going to be able to do the test now am I? I am still waiting to clean my teeth and have my breakfast as that can affect the result.

I got blood on the swab for my first positive, but also had plenty of negative ones with blood (I think the daily contact testing gives me nose bleeds!). I did repeat the positive using the other nostril and the line was fainter but still there, so not convinced blood makes any difference.

Oh no. I did two more tests (avoiding the worst nostril) and the other two were both negative, but I am not totally convinced I managed to get to the right place in my mouth/throat due to gagging and my nostril was so sensitive and ticklish it made me wince so didn’t get very far there either. I tried for ages and gave it my best shot. I don’t feel ill, ill just claggy throat slight runny nose and occasional sneezing. Otherwise I feel ok it was just with having covid in the household and wanting to do the right thing.

They are all positives.

In the leaflet that comes with the LFTs it says not to use a swab if it has blood on it.
