... if you're positive and they are not and you have no family or friends to help you get them to school?

I am not in this position atm, but I am just curious if I am positive how I get my son to school. He's in reception!

Someone at home is positive but I am still negative and it's been 5 days so I may have been lucky this time but just thinking ahead! 😬

Are people just dropping them off as normal?
I literally have no idea what I'd do!

Yeh, I just took my DD on the schools advice. This was back last October when it was illegal to leave the house apparently. I dropped DD off at the gate & a teacher met her from the car (I remained in it). The teachers were doing that for a shed load of families last year!

Do you have a class WhatsApp or something? I’ve picked up a few classmates who’s parents had covid.. I’m always happy to help.

I’m on the PTA at school & I know one of the members has covid at the moment.. she’s been walking her kids to school and standing well back from anyone in the playground!

Day 8 here, hubby day 3 and first day back after COVID for DS. So given I'm nearing freedom, I thought I wouldn't be very infectious even though I was still positive. So I took him this morning, wore a mask, made sure I didn't cough/sneeze and didn't talk to a soul. Got out quickly.

Whether that was right or wrong I couldn't have him here still as he's missed a week already.
