This is my day 7 test (today). No fever but have a bad headache, feeling nauseous on and off, cough and runny nose still ongoing.
I also only tested positive after 5-6 days of having symptoms.

What days are people testing negative?
AndrewPeacock · 21/03/2022 11:33

Day 10 😭 - no symptoms at any point

EducatingArti · 21/03/2022 11:34

Day 15 for me! Is that a mn record?

Spacemonkey2016 · 21/03/2022 11:38

I am day 8 and feel mostly okay, just v.tired (but that could be the toddler having me up all night!) but my test is still very strong positive.

mummywithtwokidsplusdog · 21/03/2022 11:51

Me day10 (felt horrific so not surprised).
DP day 7
DC day 9
DC2 day 6 ….. glad it’s over with - at least for awhile!

OopsIChangedItAgain · 21/03/2022 16:02

I've had a mild case, LFT was negative on day 2 (day 1 was just a hint of scratchy throat, didn't think to test), positive day 4 and 5. Took one this morning, day 7, and there was just a hint of a line so I expect tomorrow it will be negative.

outofmydepthh · 21/03/2022 16:35

Are people getting negatives whilst they still have a cough then?

buckleten · 21/03/2022 16:57

I'm on day 6 and have my strongest line so far 🙁

Frosty1000 · 21/03/2022 17:45

Day 8 here and I think I'll give up testing as it's still positive and not going anywhere tomorrow and free Wednesday......

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 21/03/2022 17:47

Me (and DP actually) - both around day 10 or 11
Teenage DS - day 5

gettingalife · 21/03/2022 17:56

Day 15 for me!

Buttercup72 · 21/03/2022 18:46

@outofmydepthh

I started testing negative on Wednesday (day 7), but still having bouts of fatigue, aches and the cough/sneezes. Bit surprised I feel so bad with a negative test alouth I’ve definitely improved since last week.

teaandcake22 · 21/03/2022 19:04

Day 11 was my last positive test 😫

incompetentcervix · 21/03/2022 19:09

Day 12 fuck you covid

Ronaldo2004 · 21/03/2022 23:09

How long do you have to isolate for these days? I have no symptoms but still very positive and very bored.

outofmydepthh · 21/03/2022 23:23

You're not legally required to isolate at all but the guidance currently is 10 days unless you receive two negatives on a lateral flow, 24 hours apart from day 5 onwards and you don't have a temperature
Ronaldo2004 · 21/03/2022 23:26

@outofmydepthh thanks past day 10 but feels wrong going out when still showing positive. (Very mild) symptoms which prompted test lasted all of 6 hours on day 1 and nothing since.

outofmydepthh · 21/03/2022 23:31

@Ronaldo2004 you can show positive for quite a while without being contagious so I wouldn't worry. Enjoy your freedom! Grin

Ronaldo2004 · 21/03/2022 23:41

@outofmydepthh wahoo thanks I was going to wait until day 14!

cadburyegg · 22/03/2022 12:20

Still a faint positive on day 9 (today). I'm not isolating though, I have to take my kids to school.

I was symptom free after day 4

cadburyegg · 22/03/2022 12:21

Just to clarify, I did isolate all of last week

MsTSwift · 22/03/2022 12:26

Day 7 first negative test just done but still have splitting headache and feel crap. Am I home free or not do you think?

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 22/03/2022 13:35

I started with a sore throat on Friday, progressed to cough/vomiting over the weekend, and PCR came back positive today. Lateral flows negative throughout including this morning.

JemimaMuddledUp · 22/03/2022 13:39

Day 8 still positive.

In Wales too, so still legally required to self isolate.
