Has anyone who's had omicron recently had loss of taste as their only or first symptom? Been out for lunch with a friend today who commented afterwards that he couldn't taste anything? I ordered the same thing and mine was definitely not tasteless! I've said he ought to do an lft but he laughed and said he's perfectly well. Google seems to imply that loss of smell and taste is rarer with omicron but it's got me worried.
