Anyone else? I've been trying to order a box online for the past 3 days and it keeps saying non available. I thought it wasn't coming to an end til the end of the month.

Thanks! Just ordered some. Have been trying for days

Apple40 · 19/03/2022 22:02

Hi have managed to get some, I found ordering in the evening they are always available, I do find it strange it’s all the old version being delivered, why were these not used up before versions released x

Tomeeornottomee · 19/03/2022 22:07

I got a collect code and picked it up at Tesco chemist. They gave me 2 boxes, if you have no joy getting any delivered try that instead?

OldTinHat · 19/03/2022 22:11

I've just ordered a box via gov.uk with no problems.

Sausagerollfiend · 19/03/2022 22:15

I've been able to get boxes from my local library and local leisure centre. You just ask, they note down your name and give you a couple of boxes. Also try your town centre, ours have a mobile LFT bus that tests you and gives boxes out. Obviously you can only do this if you aren't isolating!

AtLeastPretendToCare · 19/03/2022 22:20

I just ordered some before coming on here.

It is now once every 3 days so might be worth, if you manage to order, making a note of day/time so you can try again in 72 hours if you need more than one box.

Cherryblossoms85 · 19/03/2022 22:29

I don't really care.

TinaWeymouthsBass · 19/03/2022 23:10

@Cherryblossoms85
Good for you but some of us need to test for our jobs

Pumpfive · 19/03/2022 23:21

Thanks all, I've tried this morning, lunchtime and just now - nothing. Will try again tomorrow. I did know about the every 3 day thing. I haven't ordered any since a week ago so should be eligible.

@Cherryblossoms85 why are you coming to the covid board and writing silly comments like this? There's valid reasons why I need covid tests.

Our pharmacy has loads and are available to order in. Definitely worth ringing around to check.

MsTSwift · 20/03/2022 05:01

Paid for ours. £20 for 3 boxes. Gave up with the free ones I have covid and need to know when I am negative though feel so ill now it will likely be a few days. I’m too ill to drive round chemists and Dh doing everything on his own feels unfair to get him to go it.

ellesbellesxxx · 20/03/2022 05:09

@MsTSwift hope you feel better soon x
Can I ask where you bought them from please? Contemplating it too!

MsTSwift · 20/03/2022 08:04

Website called workwear express was £20 for 3 boxes inc postage supppoded to be delivered on Tuesday I have a work event in we’d be helpful to know for sure if I can go or not

I read somewhere that if you order before 8am or after 8pm there should be some available. MIL got some last night and I managed to order some just now.

EatYourFive · 20/03/2022 08:42

I just ordered some through the NHS website, have tried 3-4 days in a row and there were never any available.

TinaWeymouthsBass · 20/03/2022 09:10

I just managed to order some.

Pumpfive · 20/03/2022 09:15

I don't know why the government brought in "close contacts test daily" without having enough tests to support it. In 2 weeks we won't be testing at all so I don't know why they haven't changed the daily test advice.

Actually in England official advice now is that close contacts only have to test if they get symptoms. However school asked DD to test every day for 7 days with a household contact.
