Proof of recovery

I wanted to understand if anyone recently has used proof of recovery for travel in lieu of tests and how we get the proof of recovery certificates now. I can't seem to find this info anywhere on the NHS but it seems private companies offer this.

We have all just tested positive, and due to travel to a country mid April where they require PCRs for departure but do also accept recover certificates.

Obviously worried about the testing as they say you can still test positive for 90 days.

Thank you to anyone who has this info or has done this recently!

We're just giving this thread a bump for the OP in case anyone's around to advise her.

Yes I'd like to know this too!

Did you get a PCR at the time? If so, search for the NHS digital covid pass page, if you haven't already done so you'll probably need to register.

Within the site there is a link for obtaining proof of recovery specially for travel. Follow this link, it asks for your personal info including a photo and voice recording! They then issue you a digital QR code on the site. All pretty fast!

I did this about a week ago Smile Know what you mean about it not being obvious! If you have the positive PCR you won't need to go via the private route.

You need to register with the NHS covid pass service first:

covid-status.service.nhsx.nhs.uk/

Then find the link about getting a pass for travel, and follow your nose.

Hope that helps!

Ah thank you so much!
Yes I did get a PCR and have the NHS confirmation, so fingers crossed that will work for us!
