What to do if lateral flow tests still positive on day 10?

Can positive results still occur even after someone is no longer infectious?

Does the ‘2 negative tests’ thing only apply to those ending isolation in under 10 days?

Pretty sure once 10days have passed then your good to go regardless of test results. You have to have negatives on two consecutive days from day 5-10 to come out early.

Yep, after ten days you're good to go regardless of what LFTs say. It's possible to test positive for a good while after you've had Covid - last year DH was still faintly positive after almost two months.

Mine did. I'm now at day 13 and got a negative test. Whilst guidance says I'm 'good to go' I was meant to be seeing someone on day 10 who is CEV and I just couldn't take a chance.
