Still unwell after 8 weeks - what helped?

8 weeks on from catching Omicron, I'm still feeling unwell with extreme fatigue and weird heart symptoms. (I got my third jab a month before getting ill.)

I'd love to hear stories of people who recovered or got a lot better after a similar amount of time - or any wisdom about what kind of mindset or approach helps if it lasted a lot longer.

I've tried to strip back my daily routine to the most important things - mostly the time looking after my daughter - with lots of time for rest and small goals like walking my daughter slowly to school a few times a week, or spending some time in the garden every day. And of course I'm chasing the GP for any further medical help I can get! But it's hard to adjust and work out how I can give myself the best chance of getting better.

A colleague of mine had exhaustion when working. She had to WFH sometimes because coming into the office took it out of her.
The only thing that helped was time, and looking after herself.

Thanks. I hope time makes me better too! It's just tough being in the middle of it and trying to work out how to manage life until I get better, I suppose...

Rest, and time. Boosting your vitamins if you are deficient . But mostly time.
