How quickly did you test negative?

Tested positive for the first time on Thursday. Reckon I was probably symptomatic from Tuesday night. Current symptoms hacking cough, blocked nose, upset stomach, can’t taste much either. Bit of a fever too but that seems to have subsided

I have a birthday event to get to this coming Thursday. What are the chances I’ll be testing negative by then? I know there is no legal obligation to isolate but there’s no way I’d go to a social function with transmissible covid.

I didn't test negative until day 14. Had virtually no symptoms at all.

Is the freedom date counted from the day symptoms start or from the first day of a positive test?
I started with symptoms on Weds but didn't test positive until Fri.
My boss is making noises about me going back to work on Thur but still getting a strong positive today.

Thank you @Winday. I’m feeling very unwell so guess I’ll be testing positive for a while Sad.

Tested positive on Tuesday last week tested because I was going to an event did start feeling rough that day. Usually test twice a week for work but hadn't tested at the weekend so no idea how long I was positive for. Tested on Sunday and today both negative
