Covid and stomach upset

I've tested positive for Covid yesterday, and have been feeling under the weather but not awful (I'm also immunocompromised and pregnant so I'm being careful for all worsening signs!). I'm sure this has been answered a thousand times, but did anyone have a bad upset stomach with Covid? I've had, tmi warning, diarrhoea and stomach cramps all day, this afternoon to the point where I just sat in the bathroom because there was no point to go anywhere else! I'm just wondering if it's actually due to Covid or if it's something else unrelated...

Yes I did. Didn't have it quite as bad as you but definitely had a dodgy tummy for about 3 days then it cleared up. You need to rest with Covid. Go to bed and stay there!

Ah, that's reassuring, thanks! Although I'm sorry you weren't well. Yeah, I've been a bit achy and sleepy today but every time I drop off to sleep I'm waking up because my stomach has gone crazy again, haha. Hopefully it will wear off...

Yes, stomach symptoms are very common, whether a sensation of heartburn and mildly loose bowels, or full on vomiting or diarrhoea.

It's quite bizarre. I'm achey all over and really upset stomach (thought it was mildly better but that turned out to be optimistic) but no cold or cough or anything like that at all.

My DD tested positive this afternoon and tonight I've got the raging shits and cramps, I also feel unwell. I'm expecting to test positive over the next few days.

Interesting......my ds positive yesterday morning, started symptoms Thursday night but not stomach stuff. But I didn't moved from bathroom yesterday evening between 8 and 2 this morning as it was pointless.

It'll be inevitable then that I get that 2nd line I think.

My second line didn't appear till the evening of the day I started feeling unwell and it was faint to start with. Now it is strong. So I guess it might be the same for you guys - sorry!

I've not been vomiting but I am feeling a bit nauseous and can't really eat at all, although drinking is okay. No loss of taste.
