How long were you COVID positive?

I had symptoms from Friday, didn't get a lateral flow until Monday which was positive. I don't want to do them daily as I only have a limited number and they're expensive. May test again tomorrow?

13 days! It was very annoying as I only felt ill for days 1-3!

couldthisgetworse · 09/03/2022 19:07

Oh how annoying ! I don't really feel ill anymore either😭 I'm isolating but it just feels so conflicting now that we don't have to!

I’m still positive on day 7, friends are on day 10/11

Are you not on UK? They are still free to order online to deliver to your home

CornishPasty101 · 09/03/2022 19:13

The first time (October) 12 days. This time I first tested negative on Day 7.

clarepetal · 09/03/2022 19:15

Positive for 11 days

MissDynamite23 · 09/03/2022 19:16

It was 8 days for me.

TheSmallAssassin · 09/03/2022 19:17

Zoe study says 8 days is average, and suggests most people should start testing on day 6

Musicaltheatremum · 09/03/2022 19:18

I'm day six so checked today still very positive. Will check in a couple of days but will be back at work on day 11 whatever. Partner also positive so we are in this together

Scottishgirl85 · 09/03/2022 19:24

5 days. Negative on 6th. For all our family the line has disappeared quickly and suddenly

thaegumathteth · 10/03/2022 01:36

9 days. No symptoms on day I tested positive. Symptoms started next day mainly head cold.

Dd (11)
Had hardly any symptoms and was positive for 8 days (or potentially longer because only did LFT when asymptomatic as her school had so many cases.

Adebayo · 10/03/2022 02:10

6 days. Triple vaxxed.

Ineverpromisedyouarosegarden · 10/03/2022 02:41

Still positive day 12, triple vaxed and an antibody infusion.

emmag1925 · 10/03/2022 03:12

8 days for me

silverspiral · 10/03/2022 03:24

15 days, triple vaccinated and felt fine with it.

Tequilamakesmehappy · 10/03/2022 03:41

Day 9/10 for those in my household

garlictwist · 10/03/2022 05:46

Just to say I have ordered some lateral flows online this week and they were free.

I'm on day 7 and still positive...

garlictwist · 10/03/2022 05:49

Incidentally I feel fine now. Does that mean I still have covid because I'm testing positive? Or it it picking it up because it's still in my system?

ShakespearesSisters · 10/03/2022 06:29

15 days, triple vaxed. Was more affected than the rest of family who you wouldn't have thought were ill. Was about 5 weeks before I felt normal. DH 10 days, DD1 10 days and DD2 8 days (who was the one that got it 1st)

EmpressaurusWitchDoesntBurn · 10/03/2022 06:32

9 days, vaxed and boosted. Started feeling ill the day I tested positive but it never went beyond feeling like a bad cold.

Your test on 6th looks positive 😬
FuckThatBullshit · 10/03/2022 06:36

4 days. Unvaccinated

Scottishgirl85 · 10/03/2022 11:40

@whereiscaroline, my message was confusing. Negative on 6th day, which was the 07/03. Didn't take a photo on 07/03.
