Close Contact.. do I have time to stock up?

Morning all. So my FWB text me this morning to say he has tested positive. I saw him yesterday afternoon.
I've just done a test and still negative.

It's extremely likely that I have caught it from him.

Would it be ethical to run to the shops after work today to stock up on the things I need for my inevitable isolation? I'm in Scotland so this still applies and also I'll be wearing a mask round the supermarket.

I don't think I'm a risk to anyone yet but I know I'm probably starting to incubate it as we speak. It'll be 24hrs since "exposure".

Thanks all.

@KnackeredNurse

The next morning... Woke up with a snotty nose and sore throat. LFT still negative.
I had short contact with someone who tested positive 1 day later. Got a cold 3 days after. I tested regularly every few days and was always negative. The cold never got better or worse i always felt like im on the verge of getting ill, but not really there yet. Forward 2 weeks and overnight i felt terrible all of a sudden with temp, shivers etc. My LFT finally showed positive. I took a pcr 2 days earlier because i wanted to be sure and my LFTs kept coming back neg. The pcr was negative too. I mean its possible that i had a cold and picked up covid later, but its much more likely that ive been walking around with it for 2 weeks before the test picked it up.
