Proof of recovery for 12 year old

My son is going to Spain with the school next month on a trip. He is not vaccinated as does not turn 12 until next week although will have had his first dose by the time they leave. Spain has announced they will accept proof of recovery and as he had Covid at New Year I was thinking rather than pay for a test we would just show that, however I have no idea how to get a hold of it and a google search has not assisted me as I can only see reference to vaccination certificates for 12-15 year olds. Anyone got a snazzy link for me or can tell me where I need to be looking?

Request a letter from nhs -- hes too young for the app in england

I was wondering the same. I have got a Covid recovery bar code on the NHS website for my son. I had to join on his behalf and go through a verification procedure for him. He is 12. Has anyone tried using this for entry to Spain?
