I'm on day 15.. been signed off an extra week from work. Have good days and bad days, felt fine and tested negative on day 9, then day 11 starting feeling bad again, no cold symptoms, just tired, brain fog, breathless - especially when talking to people. Particularly exhausted today and have done nothing. Starting to get worried. Will this ever pass? I just want to get back to doing normal things.

Hi there. I'm sorry you're still feeling poorly.
I have nothing useful to add but came to commiserate as I'm on day 15 and feel rubbish, have done since day 12 (I posted asking whether other people had developed colds just after covid). I'm not sure what's going on whether it is cold or still covid but it's rubbish - too many responsibilities and things to do to still feel ill!
I hope you get the chance to rest up and that you feel much better very soon.

Glad to hear it isn't just me..... I feel so nauseous and dizzy. I wish there was something I could do to just take it away.

I thought I had got better at day 7 agree but was feelinv poorly that week, then started to feel worse again, breathless, day 9 and I had pneumonia and ended up quite poorly, so could be worth a gp visit. Hope you're ok asap

Snap @WaiveringKate I had to work over zoom today and was so dizzy and nauseous trying to follow presentations.
Something about the movement on the screen made it worse, like motion sickness 🤢
Rest up as much as you can and I agree with pp, if you feel more breathless might be worth speaking to GP to rule out chest infection.

Took me 4 weeks to feel better.

I was just about to post this. I’m on day 9. Felt really awful right at the beginning and then felt a bit better. Feeling awful again today. Still very positive on LFT also :( had enough

I felt the same way as you, like I was struggling to get better but just getting worse on some days. It took me 4 weeks to feel like I'd turned a corner. Many days off work with the highs and lows meanwhile. I am now on week5 and still have some distance to go before I feel 100%. I hope this helps - resting yourself and not pushing though the fatigue are the best ways to give your body the healing it needs. It will get better.

I had very similar experiences and ended up being off work for 5 weeks in total. Still not quite right but no fatigue.
