Stupid question... but can you catch it again so soon?

If you were the one to pass it onto your other half around day 9, and they got ill just as you were improving and finally testing negative, could you catch it again from them? I've got a sore throat and achey legs on day 13 after feeling OK and finally testing negative.

No, that's just a reoccurrence of symptoms - the sting in the tail if you like. Rest if you can. You may find you get periodic flare ups of symptoms over the next few weeks.

I would say most likely no immediately after having covid but it's definitely possible for some people to get it more then once in a short time. Dd had it twice in 5 weeks. But I wouldn't think so I'm your cases. I found that symptoms can reoccur, even after the 10 days is up for weeks or months!

No I don't think you've recovered from the first time

I guess it would just keep going around in a circle in the household if this was the case?
