Home PCR test - Sunday results?

I'm getting a home PCR test delivered today (Saturday) which I will post straight back after doing the test. I'm just wondering if there's any chance I might get the results tomorrow with it being Sunday tomorrow? Ie will the test be delivered back to them on a Sunday? Or is it like at home where there's no Sunday post delivery? Many thanks!

Search for a priority postbox near you first and the pick up times. I'm not sure you'd get results as soon as tomorrow for a postal test

It should do if you use a priority postbox.

Yes it will but like above you must post it in a priority postbox, you can use find my nearest on the post office website and filter for Saturday/Sunday priority collections

It might have changed since I did a postal test in December but the instructions told you not to test and post on a Saturday because of postal delays over Sunday compromising the sample.

There is a Sunday collection on a Priority Box near me.

Have you posted? You can find collection times for priority boxes online. You can also track your test if you register it to see when it arrives in the lab. Labs work around the clock so there's a chance results could come back tomorrow. We always had our postal results next day!!

I posted mine on a Saturday morning, priority post box, and got the result on Sunday morning.
