Mild symptoms yesterday so went for PCR and it's come back positive today. There are 4 of us in the household and we can't isolate from one another (2 young children and no space!). Supposed to be going on holiday in 3 weeks...what are the chances we will actually get to go?! I know no one can predict it but just wondering if you didn't isolate within your household did everyone test positive and how long did it take from the first person?

From start to finish for 4 of us, 3 weeks and 2 days. From the 1st person testing positive, to the last day of the last person isolating. Good luck.

Oh no, I was afraid that might be the case. I guess it's a waiting game now!!

We all got symptoms on the same day (it's impossible to isolate with kids anyway so wouldn't have tried tbh) so 10 days and we were all free again.

DH was positive a couple weeks ago. I didn’t get it and neither did the children.
He did sleep in the spare room but other than that we carried on as normal.

DD positive 10 days ago. Me and DH still negative. DH was out a lot but me and DD were in car together, had a film night, spent a load of time together before she tested positive. I've got a bit of a cold but negative tests. DH no symptoms at all
