Hi all

Has anyone had covid with their little one, I'm a bit concerned being single mum how I can avoid her catching it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks
Jamie

Hi there
My 7month old and I (along with the rest of the household) have just finished isolating after us all getting covid. I'm breastfeeding so there was no chance he wasn't going to get it!
He's had a very snotty nose and had the odd time where he's been a little unsettled, but on the whole, has faired very well throughout (to be honest, all 6 of us have had minor symptoms - the worst was me losing my voice for 3 days (depends who you I ask though Grin).
I don't think there is much you can do except wear a mask, frequent hand washing etc, but at that age, they need mum and won't understand it all. Just be reassured that the chances of her being particularly ill are small.
