I don’t believe in testing, it’s all a load of rubbish

This is what mil said at the weekend.

I knew she was antivax but omg.

I have been and still am very unwell with Covid. Also CEV.

It was the kids birthday so she called around with a card. She told me she had symptoms, was asking about mine to compare. She said she had very similar symptoms to me about a week or so ago. I asked her if she had done an lft, she said no, doesn’t believe in testing it’s all a load of rubbish. Didn’t understand what a lft or pcr was.

She happily said she had been to the supermarket etc. Still having regular contact with sil and her kids.

I just can’t believe some people could be so selfish/stupid.

My elderly DM has a couple of friends who have, frankly, no idea how to test… and they’re the ones going to church 2 or 3 times a week, mooching around the supermarket unmasked.

I find it hugely ironic that we all locked down to save their lives and avoid giving it to them, only to have them all wafting around with the virus!
