One positive LFT lots of negatives

I had one positive last night, but I have no symptoms at all. Since then I've done 5 or 6 more and all have been negative. Has anyone else had similar? I don't know what to do. I'm isolating but not sure if I should.

Why are you wasting LFTs? False negatives are more likely than false positives. I didn't test positive at any point on LFT when I had Covid.

Up to you but it's incredibly pointless to be doing 6 lateral flow tests, if you had a positive then yes you're supposed to isolate not do more tests. If you don't want to isolate then don't.

My BIL did one, was super faint was unsure if it was positive so did a pcr for work. Positive.

The next day he did one as he didn't have any symptoms and it was negative....? But had to go with the pcr

I know it feels strange but the negatives don't cancel out the positive. You have to isolate sorry OP

My niece had that, then 2 days later another positive one and then a positive pcr.

Dd had similar except her line came up after the time limit. We got pcr and it was positive

Thanks all for your thoughts.
I've booked a PCR for tomorrow.
I have some important things coming up and want to know if I have it or not. Completely happy to isolate and have been doing so, but Im not sure that I do have covid so am looking for further evidence to corroborate.
It's a reasonable thought...

Thanks Januarypip I am isolating.
I'm a participant on a covid vaccine trial so I have to go and see them as a result of the positive LFT. Their tests will confirm one way or another.

I was negative up to and including the day I had pcr. Did pcr in morning as had symptoms then did a lft that evening as DH was positive and if I was positive I wanted to stop sleeping on the couch and get back to my comfy bed. Lft was negative pcr was positive. Isolate til u get your pcr results

Janglybeads - there are a number of tests - nasal, throat, nasal and throat, lots of blood tests (possibly for antibodies), some physical tests as well, height weight etc
