V faint line on LFT when it catches light?

Just taken a LFT (old style tonsils and nostrils type). After half an hour I couldn’t see any line if I look at it straight-on, but if I look at it at an angle in bright light I can see a line which looks just like reflecting light, not dye.

I’m assuming this is negative, but am I right to do so?

Take another in the morning just to be sure.

Same thing with me today too, fingers crossed for a negative in the morning!

Faint line is usually the beginning of positive. When my DD had it I was testing everyday and they first came clear negative. One morning I looked at previous nights test and there was a very faint line. Next test was clearer and the next one was bright red.
From day 6 the tests have been completely negative - no faint line in any sort of light.

Repeat twice daily to be safe.

Mine started that way. Actually thought it was negative again on Sunday (I was expecting a positive as my husband tested positive on Friday). It wasn't until later that day when I went to pick it up to throw in the bin that I saw the faintest positive ever. Barely visible. Yesterday was similar. Today it's a bit darker.

Not sure if that means it will drag on longer thank normal because it's taking so long to get to a dark positive

I had a very very faint line on a lateral flow this morning, had to have a pcr for work reasons and it has come back positive (no surprise as I am very symptomatic).
Interestingly the lateral flow I did just in my nostrils was completely negative and so I re-did my throat with another one and got the faint positive line.

Mine looked ok today no line!
