Fourth doses bookable online for those who had third primary dose

www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/ has been updated so the severely immunocompromised in England can book boosters online now.

Existing records haven’t been corrected though. I’ve allegedly had two boosters.

Fourth doses are only available to those who are considered vulnerable. My SH and elderly mother received text’s yesterday

My DH just turned up at the local vaccination clinic when it was 3 months after his last dose - they were happy to give him dose 4 straight away - no appointment or Drs letter needed.

My dh just turned up at a walk in too, he just showed them the text he received from his consultant and got his 4th jab there and then, this was 3 weeks ago.

I got mine via a walk-in too. I’m my case I did need the letter.

I know a few people on chemo who don’t want to risk going to a walk-in and having to queue for ages though, they want what they perceive will be faster — a booked slot. Just thought I’d share that it’s now an option.

Wales are sending out appointments on the quiet. Just had my 4th.
