Chance of giving it delivery driver?

Today I had a food shop delivered. I put a note on the order stating I had covid and to leave bags at door.

However, the delivery driver hadn’t seen this. He was stood on my doorstep without a mask. He literally had to pass crates to me. He then told me he hasn’t had covid and he is worrying about passing it onto his vulnerable wife.

What are the chances I passed something onto him? He was stood outside and there was 1-2m between us very briefly.

I’m worrying 😩

Why didn’t you just call through the door and tell him to leave them on the step?

I didn’t think. I feel so poorly. When I answered the door, I just said something like “I’ll keep my distance” and he said “oh, you’ve got covid?” but following that, he didn’t really distance himself 🙈

Well as pretty much everyone I know who has had it in the last couple of months haven’t even passed it on to the people they live with I would say a pretty slim chance!

I'd say there was a very slim chance, however it's not for you to be worrying about if he didn't really distance himself.

You should have just told him you’d get the shopping once he’d gone and closed the door, he can’t not carry on can he? He has to deliver the shopping, I’d have shut the door if I were you. I would guess the chances are quite slim as he was outside, fingers crossed anyway
