Omicron and LFTs

We have several cases of Omicron in my family ATM. Presume Omicron because some of us had Covid in Nov/Dec and it was entirely different. And we were much more ill.

Anyway, this time none of us have come up positive on the blue-and-white NHS-branded LFTs. All the current positives have showed up on the Flowflex LFTs.

Has this happened to anyone else?

DD positive on the blue one but not taking any more tests until day 5 for her as I’m stuck indoors with her anyway but I will try the QR code one when I do. It’s all so wasteful (plastic) though!

Yes we had negative on the blue and white but a positive on flowflex. We then stopped testing so not sure if the blue and white wouldn't have picked it up at all or if flowflex just got it earlier?

I was symptomatic and the blue one did not show a positive on day 1 or on day 2.

All much of a muchness in my experience. They’re all manufactured to minimum standards, after all.

Yes the blue and white packs all came Negative for 4 of us and flowflex came strong positives.
I thought my blue and whites were outdated/expired (even though the date on the pack is 2023)

The blue and white one showed up immediately for DD, the rest of the family are using a mix of the blue and white ones and flowflex.

This exact same thing happened to me this morning. Very faint positive on flow flex and 100% negative on blue and white. I was expecting a positive as living with 4 family members with Covid but had I done the blue and white I would have gone to work.

I’ve just had this this morning - got a faint positive on flow flex but no line at all on the throat and nose NHS one. Have been for a PCR test to confirm even though you are supposed to take the positive as if I’d done the other one first I’d be at work now.

Myself and DD testing on flowflex N&N daily since Saturday - all negative
Tested on the NHS T & N ones and both positive today

It seems quite random!

Flowflex seems to be more sensitive

Total opposite for me, positive only on the blue and white nose and throat, multiple tests over last 6 days, every single flow flex nose only one has been negative
