My 10 year old is now eligible for the Covid Vaccine

Got a test message yesterday to say he is eligible for his vaccine, he is 10 years and 6 months old.
I didn't realise they could have them this young. He has a small hole in his heart (VSD) but it's in a safe place, doesn't need surgery or medication, and gets monitored every 4 years to see if it has closed. Maybe this is why he can have the jab.
Anyone else received a text to say their young child can have it?

I know the local CCG here were hoping to start jabbing by the end of January

That's why I'm confused as I wouldn't say he was in the clinical risk group, maybe he is.

He’s probably been flagged up as he has a named medical condition on his records.
