Does throat swabbing produce more accurate results?

My daughter tested positive 6 days back and I’ve been doing daily LFTs and so far negative. I’ve been only doing my nose, wondering if I should do my throat? Only because another parent tested positive today but was negative until yesterday with nose swabbing, but she did her throat and it’s positive-

My DD was a faint positive today on nose only, we reside with throat and nose and she was s really clear positive. So with a sample of one, I'd go with both being better. But I do really struggle with gagging when I try to swab my throat.

Ive heard that Omicrom is more of a throat virus, so yes more likely to show up on a throat swab than purely nose. Ive been doing both types since I know Im around covid cases.
