Oh lord God, yes, the back pain is horrendous, right in the middle of my back.

Drivingbuttercup · 27/01/2022 19:08

Yes im currently covid positive but have no major symtoms. A little bit achey with mild lower back ache. Sister who also tested positive last week also complained of lower back pain.

I’m sitting here reading this as I have back pain …. Off to do a test!

Geminigal66 · 27/01/2022 19:12

My 8th day of having covid..painful lower back and hips on day 3 and 4..

pombal · 27/01/2022 19:16

Yes, both myself and my son - mainly lower back.

lexi873 · 27/01/2022 19:17

I read about it causing lower back pain but mines across the middle of my back like I’ve pulled muscles.
Day 5 now and I’ve had the back ache since the weekend.

mumpleasemayi · 27/01/2022 19:18

Yes, my ds had back pain too. No other symptoms really just a runny nose.

YukoandHiro · 27/01/2022 19:20

Oh god. I've had back pain all week, and my daughter is a close contact of someone . We are all testing negative just now though

OnceuponaRainbow18 · 27/01/2022 19:20

Oh blimey, I’ve had horrific back pain for last week, as it totally agony, felt like it’s seized.

seperatedmum · 27/01/2022 19:22

craves stranger validation YES! I've googled this already today. I don't know what I've got other than Covid but my back and shoulders are so painful I can't sleep and my 15yo complained about his back too. It's a really mixed bag of pain; aches, spasms, burning, heartburn but into my back, nausea-making like labour, just awful, sympathy to the rest of you

Alicenwonderland · 27/01/2022 19:23

I do, painful back and hips especially. My son is positive but didn't test positive until he'd been ill for 4 days! I've been ill for 3 but still testing negative. They've got 14 teachers off with it at school and half of year 6 we're off last week. I can see how it's spreading as you test negative despite having it!

I had covid last week and my god the lower back and hip pain was horrendous. Infact my whole body hurt from head to toe. Never had anything like it before.

Heathersl9 · 27/01/2022 20:02

Oh no I didn’t mean to scare people who have back pain .. was just wondering if anyone who is Covid positive had rhis as a main symptom - mine seems to get worse throughout the day.. no other real symptoms though

I should add, it felt so bad I expected to see red skin or bruising in the mirror but nothing 😕
SmellyOldOwls · 27/01/2022 20:48

I currently have it. No back pain yet, my joints are sore though.

Heathersl9 · 27/01/2022 21:46

Tested positive today, I did have bad lower back pain 2 days ago, at the time put it down to over doing the exercise.

WhatIsThisPlease · 27/01/2022 21:53

Yes I did. A really horrible intense pain.

LondonQueen · 27/01/2022 22:09

My colleague was saying this, she had a have nearly a week off work as she was so bad with it. It's quite scary.

TheSpanishApartment · 27/01/2022 22:43

Yes, it was my first symptom, mine was upper back/ shoulders. I didn’t test positive until a cough developed a couple of days later though.
